Field
Trip Planning
For
an educational, fun, and safe visit to the Texas State Aquarium,
please follow these guidelines:
Pre-Planning:
-
Contact us at 361-881-1307 or reserve@txstateaq.org
for a reservation to schedule your field trip to
the Aquarium. Two weeks advance registration is required.
- Schedule
a planning visit to the Aquarium prior to your visit. Contact
us at 361-881-1307 or reserve@txstateaq.org
to arrange to have a FREE PLANNING PASS waiting for you at
the Member's Desk.
- Prepare
your chaperons. Each group of 10 students must be accompanied
by a chaperon at all times.
Arrival:
- Arrive
15 minutes before your entrance time.
- We
encourage your students to leave their belongings on the bus
(backpacks and lunches). No storage is available inside the
Aquarium.
- There
is no parking fee for buses. Buses, after unloading, will
be directed to park underneath the Harbor Bridge.
Payment:
- Please
bring your confirmation letter.
- The
leader is expected to make one payment for the entire group.
He/she is responsible for collecting any cash. If paying by
check or money order, please make check payable to the Texas
State Aquarium.
- We
accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
Food:
- Available
through Subway Sandwich Shop.
- If
all of your students are eating at Subway, pre-ordering is
recommended.
- Students
may eat their lunches in the Gulf of Mexico Plaza; please
notify the reservationist if you wish to do so.
Gift
Shop:
- The
Shoreline Gift Shop is located directly off the Main Lobby.
- Chaperons
must accompany students in the Gift Shop.
- Souvenir
packages are available on a pre-order basis.
